Choosing a dentist for you and your family is a very important step for your family's continued oral health. Before you take that initial step by scheduling your first appointment, take the time to do some research. Also, take the time to call your prospective dentist's office and ask some questions.
Does the dentist take only the state minimum required continuing education or a much more extended continuing education program?
At our office we are proud to say that our doctors take many more classes than are required. As a matter of fact, Dr. Zaino has achieved "Mastership" status with the Academy of General Dentistry, meaning that he has completed more than 1100 approved hours of continuing education and successfully completed the Academy of General Dentistry's exam and also achieved "Fellowship" status. He has also passed the written accreditation examination with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Does your dentist limit your treatment to your insurance plan or does the dentist recomend treatment in your best interest?
At our office your dental health comes first. While we do help you in any way possible to understand and maximize your dental benefits, we feel that your health and well-being are the most important factor in your care and treatment.
Can your appointments be scheduled in a timely fashion and a convenient times?
We offer appointments from early in the morning to late in the evening.
Do you have confidence in the dentist's capabilities and qualifications?
Dr. Zaino is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, Central Ohio Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Zaino is also the only dentist in Union County that has achieved Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry. He has also completed the Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry, Levels I and II, and is currently enrolled in the Level III Certificate Program in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry.
Is the staff friendly and knowledgeable?
At our office continuing education is not only for the doctors, but the entire staff. We take many hours of continuing education a year thanks to the encouragement of our doctors, and we are happy to be here. Most of our staff has been with us over 10 years, with quite a few on the way to, or surpassing, the 20 year mark.
What types of patient comforts are available to make your appointments more comfortable?
Your comfort is very important to us. From our cozy waiting room to our complementary snack bar to our exam rooms where we offer blankets, paraffin hand baths, and warm cloths, we make sure that you feel pampered when you leave.
OUR PHILOSOPHY IS THAT BEST DENTAL CARE IS BASED ON A FRIENDLY, MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING AMONG DOCTORS, STAFF, AND PATIENT. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CALL (937) 644-1115. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!
