NEEDLE-FREE FILLINGS

You may have some family members or friends that boast of never needing to be numbed for fillings at their dental appointments.  Now, this needle-free approach is available to almost everyone.

We started using a “Dental Laser” in April, the Solea Laser, and have been quite pleased with the results.  More than 95% of our patients now have fillings done without any anesthetic (the needle).  As I stated in my first Blog, Solea is the first CO2 dental laser cleared by the FDA for hard (teeth and bone) and soft (gums and anything that’s not hard in your mouth) tissue.

Here are some of the comments we have heard from our patients:

  • “Oh, that was way better than getting numbed.”

  • “I would choose the laser every time.”

  • “New laser machine is amazing.”

  • “Best Dentistry in Union County Ohio.”

  • “Wow, that’s it?”

  • Etc.

Solea’s unique wavelength makes our procedures virtually soundless (compared to a drill), painless, and fewer sensations.  We are reinventing the dental experience for our patients.

No more drooling when you leave our office, no more needle injections, and – most importantly – a drastic reduction in the amount of multi-appointment procedures.

Sometimes, your appointments are even quicker.  It usually takes 5-15 minutes for a tooth to become numb after anesthesia is injected with a needle.  This waiting time is no longer needed.

With most of our fillings being completely hardened by the time your visit is completed, you can eat right away.  No more soup for lunch or supper.

And, we can even remove old fillings (white and silver) with the laser.  Although, the silver fillings do require some drilling to remove (we don’t want to get any mercury in the air for you to breath).

So, don’t delay, book your appointment today and check out our Solea first hand.  Call:  (937) 644-1115
